Ann and I came to Bethel Baptist Church in December 2005 from Kansas City, MO. I retired from 20 years in the United States Air Force in 1994.  While in the military, I served as volunteer worship leader in Southern Baptist churches in Atwater CA, Papillion NE, Bellevue NE, and Rome NY. In 1996 I earned my Masters in Church Music from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO (while serving as interim worship pastor at Linden Baptist Church), and accepted my first full-time staff position at Crescent Heights Baptist Church in Abilene, TX, where I served for five years. In 2001 Ann and I moved back to Kansas City, and I served as Associate Pastor of worship and education at Providence Baptist Church. While there, I returned to Midwestern and in 2004 earned my Masters in Christian Education. I am an active member of the New Mexico Singing Churchmen and a chaplain at the ENMMC in Roswell. Ann and I married in 1969 and have six grown children and 19 grandchildren.
